Reflection

This yeah has been a good experience for me when considering all of the colleges I have toured this year! It has really been a great experience to see what college is really like and how it will be when i finally go there in a little more than a year. I'm deeply excited for college and cant wait to see where I can actually get into. This year has easily been the most challenging year so far and has, by far, prepared me the best for what lies in store for me in college. I'm looking forward to all of the great experiences in the years to come. Hopefully i can get into a good college!

Spring Break

IM OFFICAILLY ON SPRNG BREAK! Wow that feels good to say! Anyways for spring break my family and I are going to Maui for a week to check it out! Really looking forward to that! But now to talk about the future because that's really what the blog is suppose to be on right? Lately I've been really into the whole photography thing! I think that would be a cool career to pressure! Just imagine traveling all over the world and taking pictures and getting paid! I mean I don't think I'm that good at photography but it would still be cool! I would get to visit all the places I've ever wanted to as well as meet a lot of interesting people. I think that might be a cool hobby but in actuality I don't think I have the patients or drive to really become a photographer which leads me back to my always underlying theme... That I really have no idea what I want to do. This is become more and more of a problem but maybe ill figure it out soon! Until next time

College trip

First of all, for all of those who don't know,  I'm on the so cal trip right now. So far we visited 4 different colleges! CSU long beach, Cal Polly, UC SB and UC irvine! I really started to love UC irvine! The campus is organized in this huge circle that has all of the different colleges which ends up being a perfect set up in my opinion. Everyone just long boards everywhere and they are all so nice!  To get into the school, the average GPA is about a 4.0 and with a 1900 sat score as well as meeting all of the a-g requirements! Hopefully if I do well on the sat coming up I can have a chance to get in! Another thing I'm counting on is the fact that all UC schools consider extra circulars pretty important so hopefully that can set me apart from the crowd! Anyways wish me luck!

Career Project

So I've been working on my career project for a while now and its pretty interesting! first of all, I'm planing on being a software salesmen. well... at least for this project. its pretty cool! this whole idea that cyber space is like an infinite canvas that people can create endless amounts of stuff! its all up to the imagination and i think that's awesome!

It's pretty cool to think about all the stuff that can be made but lets be real, that's not me. I don't think i have the imagination or determination to make all of this so i thought, why not sell it? It all makes perfect sense! think about it, i get to travel all around the world to sell inovative software to different companies. i get to interact with people every day and im never doing the same thng over and over again! i think its a great path that i should ersure and it all starts with y presentation tomorrow i guess!

WISH ME LUCK

China?

So today my step-dad got back from a week long business trip in china! Apparently it was really cool to see how things are so much different over there. For all of you who may not know, China is a communist nation and their culture differs greatly from the culture here. One of the mist noticeable changes was that they leave all the bones in everything they eat. They cut up meat, bone and all, and serve it to you with a side plate so you can have a place to spit the bones out... kinda gross if you ask me but whatever, they do what they want!

Aside from being very different, China is home to some of the high class learning institutions! My step-dad used to teach English in Japan and visited China frequently. I think it would be so cool to travel the world and see all of these amazing places and experience all of the different cultures of the world.

That might be another reason why i want to get it to sales. Some of the salesmen for bigger corporations get to travel all around the world to trade and sell with other big industries. That would be my ultimate goal! I mean sure you have to start small but if I'm dedicated, and maybe a little lucky, i can work my way up there!

Until next time, Stay gold.

College trip?

Just recently, my mom had me sign up for the so-cal college trip. For everyone who doesn't know what that is, the so-cal college trip is a weekend trip for sophomores and juniors to get some tours of colleges by students to see if they want to go there. I have herd it is a ton of fun so I'm pretty excited to go see what they have to offer.

P.S. If you go to Westmont please sign up... we need like 30 people to go and it will be a lot of fun!!!

Anyways back on subject. I feel like a lot of my friends have a good idea of what they want to do and its kind of scaring me. please tell me I'm not the only one who has NO IDEA what they wanna do. i mean sure the title of my blog is "salesmen of the future" but that was what I thought I wanted to do a few months ago. Who knows what I want to do tomorrow.

My class signed up for an account on this web sight called Naviance and it made me do a personality test. That was one of the most misleading test i have ever taken...  All of the questions were either black or white. were you kind and caring or were you organized and focused on the bigger picture. i feel like I'm both but according to this test I'm suppose to be some factual business man who probably works in a cubical every day of his life. That is NOT what I wanna do i know that for sure. But i guess that's where you have to start. Realize what you don't want to do and maybe it will be easier when choosing what I actually do want to do.

College

So lately my parents are really stressing me out about what college I want to go to and what job I want to get and all that jazz. They ask me almost every day, "what college do you want to visit next" and its mind blowing when you realize how many different things you can do with your life. I still think I want to be an engineering salesmen but again this might change very soon or I could purse this for a lifetime. Who knows? Defiantly not me. The time that everyone says I have is slowly dwindling away but ill find my way eventually.
